What We Expect
What You Can Expect

*Campers should have respect towards their fellow campers, counselors and any other camp staff. Most importantly, they should practice respect and reverence toward God.

* Clothing should be appropriate for the activity. The camp expects campers to wear loose pants and shorts that cover the thigh. Shirts should cover the shoulder and neckline. It is important that campers wear sneakers and closed shoes throughout the day. They may also bring sandals or flip-flops for swimming and shower houses. Campers should bring a shirt to wear with their swimsuit during certain swim times. Any actions, clothing, and belongings that portray sinful actions or beliefs are not to be done, worn, or brought to camp.

* All campers are responsible for their belongings and need to take care of them as well as any other belongings that belong to the camp. Campers are encouraged to make their bed and organize their belongings for cabin inspection each morning as well as gather their belongings after each activity.

* All our staff and counselors are Christians and are here to provide a safe and fun learning environment for campers.

* There are nurses on the campground to assist campers with medical needs or minor injuries.

* Main kitchen staff have completed certified food safety courses and can consider any allergen and food needs if needed.

* Phone calls between parents and campers can be arranged during the week of camp.

* Campers will be divided into groups by age and sex. There are different hills of cabins for boys and girls. Campers are not permitted to go on the opposite hill once camp has started. Counselors are always the same sex as their group of campers.

*We encourage a warm and open atmosphere where opinions and different beliefs are discussed and listened to. Because it is a Bible camp, we promote a biblical perspective and worldview.

Activities

Campers are divided into small groups and separated by sex and age, with junior campers being ages 9-12 and senior campers ages 13 up to graduates in high school. Junior and Senior groups meet twice a day for messages that are taught by our guest speakers and camp directors. Our directors come up with new and exciting games to play each year but there are always our annual favorites.

Senior campers will participate in dodgeball and senior exclusive games such as ultimate frisbee, capture the flag, and other water and night games. (For night games seniors are encouraged to bring long pants and dark clothing suitable for the woods.) On Thursday night after the evening message, the seniors will get to hear the staff and guest speaker's testimonies. They will also participate in the candle service where we learn about Jesus who is the light of the word.

Junior campers will participate in daily crafts, swimming, an assortment of different relay games, team games, and water balloon games as well as dodgeball. On Tuesday Juniors will be driven down to the recreation part of the park to ride paddle boats, ride bikes, play mini golf and other games. On Thursday night Junior campers roast s' mores and listen to staff and guest speaker testimonies and sing songs.
